St. Patrick's Day Festival - 2005

Mulligan's on the Blue is pleased to announce the festivities for the upcoming celebration of the birthday of St. Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland.

This year Mulligan's on the Blue will be hosting a day long event starting at 12:00pm Thursday, March 17th

Maui's own Welshman Mr. Trevor Jones will play sing along Irish Songs and will be joined by Latin guitar genius Joe Cano

From 2 pm enjoy traditional Irish music and songs from AnRil (pronounced UnReal!!)

From 4 pm Classic and Irish rock from Murray Thorne

Mulligan's would not be the same without our own Traditional and Contemporary Irish Band the "Celtic Tigers" playing from 5:30pm

The Maui Celtic Pipe and Drum Band appearing as a full band at Mulligan's under the very capable leadership of Pipe Major Mr. John Grant. This vast array of talent will feature Bagpipes, Drums, and Uileann Pipes and will play specifically for sunset and between band breaks.

To round out the Celebration, Crazy Fingers will play dance music from 9 pm

Don't go hungry as there will be lots of food available at great prices

This year we will feature an exclusive three course Irish Dinner with reserved seating on our VIP lawn area for $50 including admission.
The menu features:

Starters:
Choice of Potato Leek Soup, Emerald Green Salad with Basil Vinaigrette, or Maryland Crab Cakes.

Entrée:
Choice of Gaelic Steak with Irish Whisky Sauce, Fresh Catch Tipperary Style, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Fish & Chips, or Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie

Dessert:
Choice of Bailey's Irish Cheesecake or Warm Chocolate Lava Cake

General admission is $15 advance and $20 at the door if available starting at 2pm.
Seating is limited. $10 for Hotel/Restaurant employees with valid ID.

We will have a food tent with the following menu items on offer:
Irish Stew             $8.00
Shepherd's Pie            $8.00
Corned Beef & Cabbage    $8.00
Bangers & Mash             $8.00

As in previous years the First 50 paying people through the door after 2pm get a special Mulligan's "St. Patrick's Day" T-Shirt.

Lots of Great Prizes will be given out for best Leprechaun, best hat, best green outfit and best Irish accent.

Additional surprises include a Strolling Magician, Drink Specials, Maui Celtic Souvenir Booth and of course Mulligan's souvenir merchandise.

Don't Drink & Drive !!!!

FREE SHUTTLE LEAVING FOR MULLIGAN'S:
Departs every hour on the hour at Hapa's, and stops at the Foodland Parking Lot.

The shuttle runs till midnight.
