Craic (pronounced "Crack"): Fun. Used in phrases like "How's the craic" or "the craic was mighty".
Uisce Beatha (Ooshka baha): The Water of Life, i.e. whiskey.
Craythur (Krather): Again, whiskey.
Slainte (Slawncha): Cheers!
Pog mo thoin (Poge ma hone): Hope you're well.
Cead Mile Failte (Kayd meela falltcha): A hundred thousand welcomes.
AnRėl (Unreal): A reel or type of traditional Irish dance/tune; also an Irish band formed on Maui...CD available at the bar.
Cor (Core): Jig. Another traditional Irish dance/tune, best enjoyed after a few drops of the craythur.
Seisiųn (Seshoon): Traditional Irish Jam Session. Join us Sunday evenings or whenever the craic is on.
Slan (Slawn): See you later….preferably at Mulligan's on the Blue!
